Dag 185 - Another New York-reunion!

Efter en lugn förmiddag var det dags för ännu en reunion, den här gången med Jakub, Joshs kompis, som även han var med i Moskva.
Vi strosade runt i mysiga kvarter på Brooklynsidan av East River, kvarteren där Jakub växt upp, köpte med oss varsin pizza och slog oss ner i en park intill vattnet. Väl där pratade vi ikapp om allt som hänt sen vi sist sågs, samtidigt som vi satte i oss en förträfflig pizza och blickade ut över Manhattans skyline.

Efter detta strosade vi runt på Manhattan, kollade på underhållning på gatan, strosade nerför Wall Street och slog oss till slut ner på några bänkar nere vid vattnet där East River mötte Hudsonfloden. Därifrån tittade vi på mängder av sportfiskare och Frihetsgudinnan, samtidigt som solen sänkte sig över Ellis Island.

När väl mörkret infallit åkte vi till Rockerfeller Center, varifrån man hade en riktigt schysst utsikt över hela New York. Ganska lustigt att se Manhattan från ovan - mitt i ett stort hav av upplysta skyskrapor och neonljus fanns en gigantiskt svart fläck - Central Park!
